Seeking a dedicated professional to provide specialized education services for students who are visually impaired across multiple school districts in Central Ohio. This position offers the flexibility of full- or part-time work within a K-12 setting, serving a diverse student population and collaborating with six different districts within a 30-minute radius.

Location: Grove City, OH
Duration: Contract through the end of the current school year
Start Date: ASAP
Age Group: K-12 students
Coverage Area: Six Central Ohio districts within close proximity to the central office

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are visually impaired, adapting curriculum to their unique learning needs
• Assess individual student abilities and develop personalized education plans
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to integrate services and promote student success
• Provide orientation and mobility training, assistive technology guidance, and daily living skills coaching as applicable
• Maintain detailed student records and progress reports in compliance with educational regulations
• Travel among assigned districts to ensure consistent and effective service delivery

Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments
• Strong understanding of assistive technology and instructional strategies for visually impaired learners
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule and travel within the assigned districts
