TVI - Hickory, NC

An elementary school in Hickory, NC, is seeking qualified Teachers for the Visually Impaired to provide specialized instruction for students with visual impairments. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized educational plans tailored to students’ visual needs
• Conduct assessments to determine students’ visual abilities and instructional requirements
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate visual impairment strategies across curricula
• Utilize assistive technology and adaptive materials to enhance learning experiences
• Provide direct instruction and support to students to develop academic and functional vision skills
• Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and service delivery

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
