Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) | Hilliard, Ohio

A school district in Hilliard, OH, is seeking a Teacher of the Visually Impaired to support K-12 students. This part-time contract position is available immediately and continues through the end of the current school year.

Qualifications:

• Active Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license in Ohio
• Experience working with visually impaired students across K-12 grade levels
• Ability to develop and implement specialized educational plans tailored to students' visual needs
• Strong communication skills and collaboration with classroom teachers and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to visually impaired students in a school setting
• Assess students' individual needs and adapt curriculum accordingly
• Collaborate with educational teams to promote inclusion and accessibility
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and report to school administrators and families
• Utilize assistive technology and other resources to enhance learning opportunities
