Teacher of Visually Impaired - Irving, TX

A K-12 educational position is available for a dedicated professional specializing in services for students with visual impairments. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments across grades K-12.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement tailored educational plans.
• Participate in annual ARD meetings, contributing to discussions on student progress and service adjustments.
• Allocate 20 minutes of consultation every six weeks to ensure alignment of educational strategies.
• Manage 40 minutes of additional compensatory time within service schedules as directed during annual reviews.

Qualifications:

• Certified Teacher for the Visually Impaired with experience in K-12 educational settings.
• Strong knowledge of instructional methods and assistive technology for visually impaired students.
