Teacher of Visually Impaired - New Berlin, WI

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated professional specializing in visual impairment education. This full-time, contracted position involves working with a diverse caseload of 10-15 students, ranging in age from 3 to 21, across various locations. The role focuses on providing tailored educational support to enhance student learning and development.

Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin DPI License #1825 in Visual Impairment
• Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in a classroom setting
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with educators, families, and support staff
• Ability to manage time and travel between multiple sites as required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction to students with visual impairments, adapting materials and instructional strategies to meet individual needs
