An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to take on a part-time role as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in an engaging elementary school setting. This position is focused on providing essential support and instruction to an elementary student with visual impairments, fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Location: Peachtree City, GA
Duration: Contract for the school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction in Braille literacy and tactile learning methods.
• Assist the student in utilizing assistive technology and accessing relevant materials.
• Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, special education staff, and family members to implement and adapt the student’s IEP.

Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia teaching license as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) is required.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students with visual impairments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
