Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct visual impairment instruction for a caseload of 4 elementary students, totaling approximately 12 service hours monthly.
- Conduct consultative support totaling 11.7 hours annually to supplement student learning.
- Collaborate with the director to establish and maintain an effective service schedule.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' visual needs.
- Monitor student progress and modify instructional strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts state Teaching Certification in Visual Education is required.
- Experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting preferred.
- Ability to travel locally to the designated school location.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and service providers.
