This opportunity is for a skilled Teacher for the Visually Impaired to support a kindergarten student at an early childhood school in New York, NY. The role focuses on providing specialized instruction and consultation to enhance the student's learning experience and ensure accessibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction to a visually impaired kindergarten student for one hour each day.
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and staff through two hours per week of consultations.
- Develop and implement individualized teaching strategies tailored to the student's needs.
- Monitor progress and adjust instructional methods to optimize learning outcomes.
- Support the student’s integration into the classroom environment and promote independence.
Qualifications:
