Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of students with visual impairments.
• Deliver specialized instruction using adaptive techniques and assistive technology.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure appropriate classroom accommodations.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Provide training and guidance on vision-related issues to school personnel and family members.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching credentials with a specialization in visual impairments.
• Experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments.
• Strong knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and support strategies for visually impaired learners.
