Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of students with visual impairments.
- Deliver specialized instruction using adaptive techniques and assistive technology.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure appropriate classroom accommodations.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Provide training and guidance on vision-related issues to school personnel and family members.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching credentials with a specialization in visual impairments.
- Experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments.
