Remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) | North Carolina

Opportunity for a Teacher for the Visually Impaired at an elementary school in Asheville, NC, offering a contract position for the upcoming school year. This role involves providing specialized instruction to support a kindergarten student with visual impairments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering tailored educational sessions to a kindergarten student in a 1:1 setting
• Conducting four 90-minute sessions per week focused on visual impairment accommodations
• Collaborating with a dedicated 1:1 assistant to maximize student support

• Managing 6 hours of direct instructional time and 2 hours of indirect instructional planning and collaboration
