Virtual Teacher of Visually Impaired in NC

A position is available for an educator specializing in visual impairment to support an elementary school student in Black Mountain, NC. This contract role extends through the entire school year and involves direct interaction with a kindergartener requiring one-on-one support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing specialized instruction and assistance to a student with visual impairment.
• Delivering four 90-minute personalized sessions each week.
• Collaborating with a dedicated 1:1 aide to enhance learning outcomes.
• Utilizing full Spanish language skills to communicate effectively and support the student.
• Managing 6 hours weekly of direct teaching and 2 hours of indirect planning or related activities.
