Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) - Ohio

A contract position is available for an educator specializing in instruction for students who are visually impaired in a K-12 academic setting located in Cincinnati, OH. This opportunity extends for a full semester and focuses on delivering specialized support to students requiring tailored educational strategies to accommodate visual impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans to meet the learning needs of visually impaired students.
• Adapt curriculum materials and use assistive technologies to enhance accessibility.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to support academic progress.
• Assess student performance and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided.

Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure for teaching students with visual impairments.
