A full-time opportunity is available to provide telehealth instruction and support as a Visually Impaired Teacher, specializing in services for elementary school students. This contract position focuses on delivering educational assistance and accommodations through remote platforms, ensuring accessibility and tailored learning experiences for visually impaired students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized instruction to elementary students with visual impairments via telehealth methods.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
- Utilizing specialized educational materials and technology designed for visually impaired learners.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly to meet academic goals.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification or licensure in teaching students with visual impairments.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote instructional techniques.
- Ability to interpret or coordinate Sign Language Interpreter services to assist communication as needed.
