Hours: Tuesday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM

This position offers a unique chance to work with 9th through 12th-grade students in a self-contained class and across categorical needs, providing them with the support they need to succeed.

Position Details:

• Location: Yuma, AZ
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: May 30, 2024
• Hours: Tuesday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to students in a self-contained 9th through 12th-grade class.
• Address the unique needs of students with various categorical needs.
• Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with high school students and diverse categorical needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Dedication to the success of students with special needs.
