Sign Language Interpreter - Tanner, AL - Weekly pay

Soliant is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter for placement in an Alabama school near Tanner. This is a temporary contract running from June 5^th to June 30^th.
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in ASL or Education Interpreting
• Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of at least 3.5

Details:

• On-site
• 25 hours a week (considered “full-time” for the extended school year)
• Monday through Friday
• Elementary school

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication between the hard-of-hearing students and hearing individuals during the school day
• Maintain strict confidentiality and impartiality during interpretation
• Possess knowledge of and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct established by the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) and Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID)
