Sign Language Interpreter

Title: Sign Language Interpreter for Middle School Student

Position: Full-Time

Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a Sign Language Interpreter to provide interpretation services to an 8th grade male student. The ideal candidate should have schools experience and a working knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL).

Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one interpretation services to an 8th grade male student
- Follow the student's schedule throughout the day and provide interpretation in all subjects
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and family to ensure the student's needs are met
- Document and maintain accurate records of the student's progress and interpretive services provided
- Attend IEP meetings and other relevant meetings as needed

Requirements:

- Schools experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Basic proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team

Pay: Competitive salary based on experience
