Sign Language Interpreter

Title: Sign Language Interpreter for Middle School Student - Full Time

Position: Full-Time

Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Sign Language Interpreter to work with an 8th grade male student, providing interpretation and translation services throughout the day. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide clear, effective communication and work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities:

- Provide interpretation services to an 8th grade male student in all academic and related settings
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure the student's needs are met
- Document and maintain accurate records of interpretation services provided
- Attend IEP meetings and other relevant meetings as required

Requirements:

- Schools experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others

Pay: Competitive salary based on experience
