Job Posting: Speech Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY)

Location: Near Murphy, TX

We are actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Murphy, Texas, for the 2023-2024 school year. We currently have an opening for at least one additional SLP and are open to both experienced candidates with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates. Please note that we are not considering candidates for Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) positions at this time.

Position Details:

• Position Type: Speech Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY).
• Location: Murphy, TX.
• School Year: 2023-2024.
• Immediate Need: At least one additional SLP.
• Interview and Offer: Same day.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and evaluate speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjust intervention strategies as necessary, and provide progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Texas license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
