Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities of students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
• Provide speech and language therapy services to students with various communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and achievement
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana
• ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with school-aged children is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
