Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Hartford, CT

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year in Hartford, CT. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome speech and language challenges, promoting their communication skills and overall development. This is a full-time position with hours varying based on the school schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and interventions to students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and adjust intervention strategies accordingly
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare reports as required
  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology
  • Attend meetings and participate in professional development activities as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Connecticut state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric population is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and appropriate intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
