Are you an experienced and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for an exciting opportunity in Phoenix, AZ? We are seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to join our team for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. As an SLP, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and collaborate with a supportive team of educators.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Conduct therapy sessions to improve students' speech, language, and social communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic success
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and treatment plans
- Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology through professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Arizona state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
