Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals
  • Monitor and document students' progress, and update treatment plans as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' educational plans

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
  • Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for helping students overcome communication challenges
