Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals
- Monitor and document students' progress, and update treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' educational plans
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping students overcome communication challenges
