Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom and at home
• Monitor and document students' progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' educational plans

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
• Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in New Mexico
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping students develop their communication abilities
