Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom and at home
- Monitor and document students' progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' educational plans
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in New Mexico
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping students develop their communication abilities
