Soliant is partnering with a reputable school district in Santa Cruz, CA, to fill a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate SLP to join our team and provide exceptional speech and language services to students. This position offers the flexibility to start immediately or at the beginning of the 23/24 School Year, based on your availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
  • Implement evidence-based intervention strategies and techniques
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to support students' communication goals
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
  • Stay updated on the latest research and trends in speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
  • California state license (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
