Smyrna, DE: Pediatric SLP

Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists with big hearts! Soliant is working with a school in the area of Smyrna, DE to place a contract SLP, who will be helping to improve the communication abilities of children and young adults with significant disabilities.

Applicants will be assigned to a Special Needs school, working with 3 to 21 year-olds who have low-functioning ASD and may present behavioral challenges.

We seek applicants with the following qualities:

• Ability to maintain composure in exceptional situations
• Solution-oriented attitude and ability to manage priorities
• Good organizational skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Good rapport with children, teenagers, as well as parents, caregivers, and staff 

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Communications Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
• Delaware SLP license (Soliant can provide guidance in this process)
• Previous experience with similar population helpful
