Social Studies Teacher (6th-8th Grade)

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a Middle School Social Studies Teacher for a full-time, hourly contract position near Fairfax, SC, through the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. The role involves teaching social studies to middle school students and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach social studies in alignment with state standards.
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive environment.
• Collaborate with staff to support student success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Prior experience teaching middle school social studies preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Valid state teaching certification (preferred but not required).

Job Details:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Hourly contract position through the 2023-2024 school year.
• Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
