Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking dedicated and qualified School Social Workers to join our team for several full-time positions in the SEDOL school district located in Gages Lakes, IL. As a School Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of students in a K-12 setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct services to students, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and social skills training
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' social-emotional needs and develop appropriate intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies for promoting positive student behavior and mental health
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' social-emotional goals and accommodations
• Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding social-emotional issues and classroom management strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois License as a School Social Worker
• Active Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Experience working as a School Social Worker preferred
• Knowledge of social-emotional assessment tools and intervention strategies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate and dedicated to supporting the well-being of students
