We are currently seeking a Cath Lab Nurse to join our team for a travel contract assignment in Oakland, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures and interventions. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, assessing patient condition, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs. You will also be responsible for communicating with interdisciplinary care team members, providing patient education regarding procedures and follow-up care, and ensuring compliance with hospital policy and procedures.
Length of Contract: 13-Weeks
5x8 Variable, mostly Day, on-call shifts
Qualifications:
Active nursing license in good standing in the state of California
Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certifications
RN should be able to function and circulate in the following cases: left heart cath, right and left heart cath, coronary interventions, Stent placement, IABP, IVUS, rotoblator, radi-wire, EP/A-flutter/A-fib Ablations, Pacemaker/AICD/Bi-V implants and all cases in IR/CT/US.
Competencies should include administering medications used in CVSP including sedatives, vasoactive, intra-coronary, intravenous, intramuscular, and oral medications including its antidote.
