Special Education Teacher - near Farmingtoon, CT

Soliant has partnered with a school district near Farmington, Connecticut to hire a full time Special Education Teacher for the current school year.

Position Details:

Full time, Monday through Friday

Elementary caseload

Self-contained Autism program, 6 classroom grades K-5

10 students in class with 5 paraeducators.

strong paras in the classroom who are familiar with the students and routine. Onsite supervisor

Students have a ½ day every Wednesday and teacher/paras have collaboration/training

Very supportive environment

Certification Requirements:

MUST be certified in Connecticut as Special Education Teacher

K-5 certification or k-12
