Special Education Teacher (near Warwick, Rhode Island)- Fulltime

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to elementary students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with a team of educators and specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and growth.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet individual needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues to ensure the success of students with special needs.
• Participate in professional development and stay up-to-date with best practices in special education.

Qualifications:

• Rhode Island Department of Education certification in Special Education.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to helping students with special needs succeed.
