Soliant Education has partnered with a school district in the New London area to hire full time Special Education Teachers for the 24/25 school year.  We are actively seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as full-time Special Education Teachers and contribute to the enriching educational experience we offer.

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid teaching license/certification in Special Education
Previous experience is highly preferred, but new graduated will be considered

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique learning styles and needs of students.
  • Manage a caseload of students, providing differentiated instruction to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student performance and progress.
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes the social and emotional well-being of all students.
