Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in the Greenwood area. This role involves providing individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive a high-quality education in an inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction and tailored support in both small group and one-on-one settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and classroom activities for students with disabilities.
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet each student's needs.
• Communicate with parents, guardians, and staff about student progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with other educators and support staff.
• Maintain an inclusive, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal special education guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (required).
• Valid South Carolina Special Education Certification (required).
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and special education law.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well within a team of educators.
