Location: near Tempe, AZ

Position: Special Education Teacher
Grade Levels: K-1 Level 2 & Grades 4-6 Level 1
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to the individual needs of students.
• Provide direct instruction and support in a structured classroom setting.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success.
• Utilize various teaching strategies and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student engagement and growth.
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid Arizona teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students with special needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
