Position: Special Education Teacher

Location: Treyburn, North Carolina Area

Job Type: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week

Grade Levels: K-2

Position Type: Resource Teacher

Caseload: Less than 15 students


  • Provide specialized instruction to students in grades K-2 in a resource setting.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the unique needs of students with various abilities.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
  • North Carolina state certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students in grades K-2 in a resource setting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
