Soliant is currently seeking dedicated and experienced Special Education Teachers for the 2023-2024 school year in Newton County Schools located in Covington, GA. These full-time positions offer an exciting opportunity to work with students of various age groups and abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide co-teaching and resource support to students in elementary, middle, or high school settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to create inclusive and engaging classroom environments.
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
• Utilize various teaching methodologies and assistive technologies to enhance student learning.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence.

Requirements:

• Valid Special Education certification in the state of Georgia.
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school or educational setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and fellow educators.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and modify curriculum to meet the individual needs of students.
• Familiarity with various assistive technologies and instructional strategies for students with disabilities.
• Availability to work full-time throughout the 2023-2024 school year.
