Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join a school district in Pope Valley, California, for the current school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with special needs while working in a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to provide comprehensive support.
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential.
- Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
