Special Education Teacher | Pope Valley, CA

Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join a school district in Pope Valley, California, for the current school year. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to provide comprehensive support.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential.
• Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
