Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education
- Valid AL State Certification for Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities
- Knowledge of IEP development, behavior management strategies, and accommodations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and school teams
- Passion for supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional growth
- Ability to create engaging and accessible lessons for students with varying needs

Soliant Education is actively seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a school district in Harpersville, AL. What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
- Provide direct instruction to students with various learning needs in one-on-one or small group settings
- Work with students on both academic and social skills development
- Assess students' progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Attend IEP meetings, parent conferences, and other school-related events as required
- Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and educational needs
