Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid North Carolina Special Education certification or eligibility for licensure
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a K-12 setting
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for helping students with diverse learning needs succeed in the classroom

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district in Henderson, NC. What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs in various settings (classroom, resource room, etc.)
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure inclusion and academic success for all students
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to meet individual needs
• Advocate for students’ needs with parents, staff, and administrators
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and other school events
