Special Education Teacher Positions for 23/24 School Year in Chandler, Arizona

Job Title: Special Education Teachers for Upcoming School Year

Location: Chandler, Arizona

We are seeking qualified and experienced Special Education Teachers to join our team in Chandler, Arizona for the full upcoming school year. The successful candidate will work with students who have a range of disabilities to provide individualized instruction and support. There are 19 total openings with 11 resource and 8 self-contained classrooms. All openings are either elementary or middle school classrooms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Adapt instructional materials and methods to meet the unique needs and abilities of each student
• Provide direct instruction and support to students, including academic and social-emotional instruction
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for students with disabilities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, behavior, and other important information
• Participate in professional development opportunities and team meetings to stay informed of the latest best practices in special education

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Current Arizona certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students who have disabilities, including but not limited to Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, and Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities
• Knowledge of and experience with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and state/federal special education laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other educators, support staff, and families
• Ability to maintain accurate and organized records, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
