Special Education Teacher - Remote Position

Location: Augusta, GA
Job Title: Special Education Teacher - Virtual 

We are conducting interviews for a Special Education Teachers for our School District.

This is a 1099 position. 

 Job Description: 

• Contract approximately  09/18/2023 - EOSY
• Caseloads: K-12 Online Students 
• MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE TEACHING SPECIAL EDUCATION VIRTUALLY 
• 38 hours per week, $25-40 per hour depending on experience 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assessing students' skills and learning requirements
• Adapting lesson plans to meet each student' individualized needs
• Tracking the student's performance
• Developing, modifying, and updating IEPs

Other requirements: 

• Active GA Special Education License 
• Experience working in an Adaptive classroom
• Experience working with ID students virtually 
• Must have or be willing to get Limited Liability Insurance
