Exciting Opportunity: Special Education Teacher Position in Wauconda, IL for the 2023-2024 School Year!

About Us: We are a passionate team of educators dedicated to providing exceptional educational experiences for our students in Wauconda, Illinois. We are currently seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our middle school team and make a positive impact during the 2023-2024 school year.

Position Highlights:

• Start Date/End Date: August 7, 2023 - May 24, 2024
• Hours per week: Full-time, with daily hours from 7:35am to 3:20pm (unpaid lunch break)

Your Role: As a Special Education Teacher in our middle school, your role will be diverse and engaging. Your responsibilities include:

• Teaching two instructional literature and language arts classes at the 6th and 7th-grade levels.
• Co-teaching one class.
• Overseeing an instructional study hall.
• Case management for a group of 9 students with varying disabilities.
• Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Possession of an IL LBS1 license.
• Strong commitment to fostering the educational growth and development of students.
