We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Franklin, TN, for the 2023-2024 school year. As a Special Education Teacher in the Preschool SPED program, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment for young learners.

Program: Preschool Special Education
Schedule: Full-time, 2023-2024 school year

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for preschool students
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate with support staff, parents, and colleagues to ensure student success
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
• Participate in professional development opportunities
• Maintain accurate and organized records

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Passion for working with preschool students with special needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
• Prior experience in preschool special education is a plus
