Special Education Teacher

A school in the Washington, DC is hiring a Special Education teacher for this school year. This will be full time for the reminder of the school year.

Details:

• Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri - 7:45am - 4pm
• Thurs - 7:45am-4:30pm (professional development day)
• 6th grade caseload
• Mostly English Language Learners (ELL)
• Full time
• Co-teaching model for Math and English for 2 periods
• Responsible for 2 students with IEPs - pulling out for a period on their block schedule
• Block Schedule
• M/W/F - Planning Period/Math/Pull-out Services/English
• Tue - Planning/English/Pull-out Services/Math
• Thurs - Half day for students with Professional Development until lunch
