Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations to meet students' unique learning requirements
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to create a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor students' progress, assess their performance, and make necessary adjustments to instructional strategies
• Utilize assistive technologies and adaptive equipment to enhance student learning experiences
• Foster a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes students' social-emotional development
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress, attendance, and behavior

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid Arizona teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a classroom setting
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special needs
