Position Details:
- Grade Level: 6th grade
- Caseload: Approximately 10 students
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with diverse needs.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and growth.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to support student progress.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to ensure student success.
Requirements:
- Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching Certification.
- Previous experience in special education preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
Work Schedule:
- Hours per Week: 32.75
- Hours per Day: 6.55
