Position Details:

• Grade Level: 6th grade
• Caseload: Approximately 10 students

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with diverse needs.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and growth.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
• Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to support student progress.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to ensure student success.

Requirements:

• Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching Certification.
• Previous experience in special education preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dedication to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

Work Schedule:

• Hours per Week: 32.75
• Hours per Day: 6.55
