Special Education Teacher

Our director is highly responsive and eager to bring on board Special Education Teachers as soon as possible.

  Position Summary:

• Openings: 4 positions available
• Employment Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
• Start Date: August 30, 2023
• End Date: June 14, 2024
• Grade Levels:
  • 5th grade Inclusion classroom (up to 20 students)
  • Middle School Inclusion classroom (up to 20 students)
  • Middle School Sub-Separate classroom (up to 12 students)
  • High School Sub-Separate classroom (up to 12 students)
• Location: Onsite only (If changes occur, Alix Thomas will be VBD)

• Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts teaching certification in Special Education.
• Proven experience working with students in an inclusive or sub-separate setting.
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents.
• Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
