Special Education Teacher

Title: Special Education Teacher (Elementary or Middle School)

Type: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 3:15pm

We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time position, with 37.5 hours of work each week. The successful candidate will be responsible for working within a self-contained classroom, with a caseload of elementary or middle school students.

Responsibilities include the development and implementation of lessons and the creation of Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for students. The ideal candidate must be able to maintain positive relationships with families and caregivers, while adhering to the North Carolina Special Education License.

Qualifications:
- North Carolina Special Education License
- Experience with elementary or middle school students preferred
- Ability to adapt to a variety of situations and learning environments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
