Title: Special Education Teacher (Elementary or Middle School)
Type: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 3:15pm
Our school is in search of a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to work in our self-contained classroom. This is a full-time position, with 37.5 hours of work every week. We have positions available for both elementary and middle school caseloads.
Responsibilities include the development of lessons, creation of Individualized Education Plans (IEP), and tracking student progress. The ideal candidate must possess a North Carolina Special Education License, be able to build strong relationships with families and caregivers, and have prior experience working with elementary or middle school-aged students.
Qualifications:
- North Carolina Special Education License
- Prior experience with elementary or middle school-aged students preferred
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
