Special Education Teacher

Title: Special Education Teacher (Elementary or Middle School)

Type: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 3:15pm

We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Special Education Teacher to work in our self-contained classroom. This is a full-time position, with 37.5 hours of work each week. We have openings available for elementary and middle school caseloads.

As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering personalized lessons for students, creating Individualized Education Plans (IEP), and monitoring progress. The successful candidate must have a North Carolina Special Education License, be able to build positive relationships with families and caregivers, and have prior experience working with elementary or middle school-aged students.

Qualifications:
- North Carolina Special Education License
- Prior experience with elementary or middle school-aged students preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
