Job Description: We are seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in Minden, Nevada. For the 2023/2024 school year. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans for students with special needs, collaborating with other teachers and professionals, and providing support to students and families.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs
• Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and professionals to provide comprehensive support to students
• Provide instruction and support in various academic and life skills areas
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Special Education teaching certification in Nevada
• Experience working with students with special needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
